Welcome to Manakin-Sabot

Head west out of Richmond and it doesn’t take long for the landscape to open up. Manakin-Sabot is for the person who wants a little more breathing room, whether that means a few acres, a sprawling lawn, space for horses, or simply more privacy between you and your neighbors. It has a distinctly rural Virginia feel, yet depending on where you are, you can still be back in Richmond’s West End surprisingly quickly.

Homes here run the gamut from historic properties and traditional Virginia estates to newer custom homes tucked onto larger lots. You’ll also find some beautiful equestrian properties and neighborhoods centered around golf and country club living. The common thread is space. Manakin-Sabot offers the opportunity to spread out in a way that becomes harder to find as you move closer to the city.

One of the things we love most about this area is that “country living” doesn’t mean there’s nowhere to go. There are great local restaurants and gathering spots sprinkled throughout the area, and Short Pump and the West End are an easy drive when you need more shopping, dining, or everyday conveniences.

If your version of Richmond living includes a little land, a little privacy, and a slower pace while still keeping the city within reach, Manakin-Sabot may be exactly what you’re looking for.
